In Pathlight's 2010 Outlook we highlighted three concerns that were plaguing investors' psyches and which led to an overwhelmingly negative view of the economy and markets. The three concerns were (1) Markets cannot go up during slow economic growth, (2) The economy is too weak for companies to grow, and (3) Inflation is inevitable. These worries were all quite tidily put to bed in 2010. While concerns lingered throughout much of the year, most markets shook them off and posted solid positive returns.
